About the project
The challenge driving BRITOL was clear: while service teams often use AI for efficiency tasks like writing or summarizing, they rarely leverage it for strategic decision-making. Through eight hours of interviews, co-creation workshops, and memory recall tests with a service design consultant and an in-house service design lead, we uncovered the need for AI as a thinking partner.
Our solution, BRITOL, acts as a guided workspace that supports synthesis, alignment, and strategy-building at the earliest stages of design. The prototype demonstrates how a rough idea can quickly evolve into a validated concept with market insights, feasibility forecasts, and a strategic roadmap. Stakeholders confirmed BRITOL’s potential to “completely change the opportunity and the potential” of AI in service design, highlighting its promise to integrate into organizational workflows and deliver high-value insights.
